The product is "yellow" not "red" Delivered in a box that looked like it had been through a war. There are no ball bearings on the roller/roller shaft. Still worked ok.
I had to bend one tab that holds the roller to get it to align better. Crawford WM-5 Contractor's Choice Workmover Adjustable 27-1/2-Inch to 43-1/2-Inch Tall Roller StandThis stand arrived fine. not a big deal. It sits solidly without wobbling. Any wobbling would be easy to fix. The roller itself is plenty smooth enough. For the 24.00 shipped price you can't go wrong with this product.
The roller, however, does not sit on bearings, as the picture may lead you to believe. Good quality for a low price. The stand is essentially unbreakable. Instead, there are two steel posts projecting laterally from the roller body which insert into holes on the steel frame. This setup allows for some wobble during rolling should anything get lodged in the holes.
This is a strong stand with good roller action and it's well balanced. It is difficult to adjust to a precise height. The bar doesn't fit tightly so while you are trying to set the height, you're dealing with wobble (which affects the height). For the price, though, it's probably the best buy out there.
I ordered this roller stand on the strength of its positive reviews. The stand I received was defective. Because the bars that it sits on were not parallel, only 3 of its 4 feet contacted the floor, and it rocked. Because these bars are welded to the legs of the stand, the problem is not fixable.
